A shower of gold in the underworld
I wasn’t planning on going out last night but my friend Xavi called me up to suggest going to the Correfoc in Vilosell and so we did. The correfoc is so obviously photogenic that it can be quite limiting – a little like concert-photography, if any shot will be at least interesting how do you make a shot that stands out, particularly now that everybody has a camera and is watching the world thru its tiny screen? So for me my interest is in trying to find maybe just one photograph that is interesting and which doesn’t repeat what – and everybody else – have done before. It often takes me a few months to know if i have such a photo so this one may yet end up in the bin…
